ORCKA Basic Levels 1-3 Tandem Canoe Courses
Embark on a thrilling adventure and learn the art of tandem canoeing with our ORCKA-certified course!
📍 Location: Irish Lake, Flesherton Ontario
💲 Price: $210 per person, catered lunch and snacks included!
👥 Capacity: 10 participants per session
No prior canoe certifications are required! This one-day course is tailored for ages 16 and up, offering the opportunity to achieve up to ORCKA Level 3 certification and prepare you for the Level 4 Solo course.
Learn essential skills in both the bow and stern positions of a canoe, including basic maneuvers, a variety of paddle strokes, water safety, equipment selection, rescue techniques, and portaging.
All paddling equipment is provided, and we've got you covered with catered lunch and snacks.
ORCKA Basic Canoeing Level 4 Canoe Course
📍 Location: Irish Lake, Flesherton Ontario
💲 Price: $210 per person (Book both levels tandem 1-3 & solo 4 for $400 per person) catered lunch is included!
👥 Capacity: 5 participants per session
This course is designed for participants aged 16 and up who have completed Tandem Level 3. You'll experience everything from Tandem 1-3, but this time solo in a canoe. Gain the skills necessary to confidently maneuver a canoe on your own, refining your paddling technique and enhancing your tandem skills and efficiency.
All paddling equipment is provided, lunch and snacks are catered and included in the course fees.

A $25 deposit is due at registration to hold your spot.

She is a seasoned canoeing instructor with 14 years of experience! 🛶 Her favorite camping spots are Algonquin backcountry and French River. Jen loves solo canoeing but is happy to share a canoe from the stern seat. She finds joy in seeing the progress and sense of accomplishment her students gain, and she treasures the adventure stories and connections made on the water.
